Three basic versions of the Eaton Contactor relay from the Eaton Moeller series are available: 4 NO contacts; 3 NO contacts and 1 NC contact; and 2 NO contacts and 2 NC contacts. The devices can be expanded to up to eight contacts and come with 2-pole and 4-pole top-mounting auxiliary contacts. The relays are ideally suited for use as coupling or interface contactors, especially if used to control large contactors directly from a PLC.
This Eaton Contactor are designed for switching a power circuit. They operate in a similar way to a relay, but with higher current ratings. They provide automatic cutoff in the event of a power failure, but they do not provide overload protection. Featuring an energy-efficient design, the contactors allow easy assembly of components to form motor starters. The modular design includes screw terminals and plug-in accessories.

The Eaton Contactor line of 3 pole contactors are UL, IEC, CE and CSA rated for motor, compressor and pump loads along with many others. These Non-Reversing contactors can be outfitted with XTOB series overload relays for complete motor protection and come with a wide range of additional accessories including auxiliary contact blocks, suppressors and varistors.
