TEKNIC was established in 1971 as a small plastic-processing unit, supplying engineering plastic components to PHILIPS India.

Since 1971, TEKNIC has made quality products in the controlgear range and are the leaders in this field in India.

Started manufacturing push buttons/pilot lights in the 30.5 dia series in 1980, and in 1984 introduced the 22.5 mm dia series in metal and plastic range. The complete range has international approvals namely UL, CSA, VDE, IEC, etc.

In the late eighties, TEKNIC started manufacturing aluminium/plastic enclosures. All these enclosures are dust and moisture tight and conform to IP 65 level of protection as per IEC standards and NEMA 4 x 12 as per UL 50.

As regards enclosures for elevators, TEKNIC supplied the first pit switch to OTIS in 2000. Since then TEKNIC is supplying these switches to various companies in INDIA e.g. OTIS, KONE, THYSSENKRUPP, SCHINDLER, FUJITECH etc. In 2011, after a rigorous testing by SCHINDLER Locarno, TEKNIC started to supply to SCHINDLER and continues to supply different type of enclosures till today.

from one way to four way. They are in two forms:

These control stations use metal bezel pushbuttons & pilot lights, which offers a
wide choice of circular & square type of actuators.
